Empowering Education
Our Mission
We aim to spread education and literacy by focusing on underprivileged communities around the world. We believe books empower both individuals and societies. By building libraries in neglected areas, we provide access to knowledge that improves lives, strengthens communities, and opens doors to opportunity.

Why Libraries?
Libraries create lasting change. In many communities, students have no access to books outside of school. A library becomes a safe space to learn, explore, and dream. It builds habits of reading, encourages curiosity, and helps young people imagine a future beyond their circumstances.

Sourcing Books
We collect excess books through partnerships with local elementary and middle schools in the Bellevue School District (BSD), the King County Library System (KCLS), and community families. By organizing book drives (5), book swaps (2), and collection events (5), we give books a second life instead of letting them go to waste. Some of our notable initiatives include a book swap at Woodridge Elementary, drives at Cherry Crest Elementary and Odle Middle School, and collection events at Somerset Elementary, Tillicum Middle School, and the BSD district warehouse, where unused library books are sent. Each event helps turn surplus into opportunity—redirecting books to communities that need them most.

Real Stories, Real Change
In a village near Jaipur, Priya used to walk over an hour just to find a book to read. Now, she visits a nearby library we helped set up in collaboration with a local medical institute. It’s become part of her daily routine — a quiet space where she can study, explore new ideas, and dream a little bigger. Stories like Priya’s remind us that access to learning isn’t just about academics. It’s about dignity, possibility, and choice.
